She has toured around the East and Midwest with Chamber Theatre Company to perform the play Encore!, where she learned skills such as foley and improv.

She has acted in short plays such as Travis and Theresa, where she originated the role of Theresa, which can now be found and read in Smith and Kraus’s THE BEST 10-MINUTE PLAYS 2025*

She earned her BFA in Musical Theater at The New School in New York City. During her time at The New School, Cameron Sophia found a passion for writing and directing. She produced a play named, Bang! Bang! for the New York Summer Theater Festival and was awarded Best Lead Actress.
